to bad that a robot arm just runs pre-set movement patterns that they progam into it and then when u make a certain move with the controller it makes the move with the robot, ive never played on a wii so i dont know if this is the way it works ingame with most games. I was hoping for a real time controlled robot arm with the wii remote

Yeah, that is a bit disappointing. As far as I can tell, it’s a limitation of the robot arm. You can get realtime data directly from the wii controller itself. Check out http://www.wiili.org/
