Book release: Bellwether #1
Published by Rob Flickenger April 9th, 2007 in Books
Cat Sharp kicks off our new “Better than Blank”™ book series with Bellwether No. 1. The theme for this issue: years of obsessive exploration of female portraiture.
The book collects more than 140 beautiful illustrations and surrounds them with mostly blank space. It is full of pretty, amusing, and poignant depictions of women (and a few men), while still leaving plenty of room for your own notes and doodles.
Check out the inside of the book to see what it’s all about.
Congrats, Cat! This is a fun and fantastic start to a unique new series. Stay tuned for more issues from other Seattle artists.

I’ve been meaning to ask — is this the same Cat who drew fantastic images using crayons when we did exquisite corpses on our deck in Sebastopol? I think I still have those, but if this contains more like that, then I obviously need it! (Besides, my current notebook is almost full…time to move on to another!)
The very same.
Awesome. It is *mine*.
