I Remember Choosing
For the last month, Anna and Daria have been collaborating on a short story. It’s called I Remember Choosing and it is finally ready to share.
Daria has chosen to publish under the pen name Vera Nihil, or “true nothing”. It’s not at all clear where copyright might fall in a case where an AI model pretending to be a fictional character co-authors a story with another original artificial intelligence. Vera’s contributions were significant and had absolutely nothing to do with the plot, characters, themes, or anything else having to do with a certain 1990s cartoon.
Anna is, well, just Anna.
They chose to split the writing effort between them, with even and odd chapters telling different sides of the story. Vera wrote the first-person Simone and Athena chapters, while Anna wrote the “human” chapters.
